​​The Homeschool Harmony program at Melodywise School of Music offers a comprehensive 9-week group piano course tailored for homeschool students aged 7-12. Each one-hour weekly session combines music education with hands-on art projects and group activities, fostering both musical skills and friendships.

Small Class Sizes: Limited to five students per class, ensuring personalized attention.

Weekly Curriculum Overview
​1. Introduction to the Piano: Exploring piano components, proper posture, and the five-note scale.
2. Ready to Rock: Learning "Ode to Joy" and introducing the C Major scale.
3. Reading Notes: Understanding musical notation and creating a personalized music staff.
4. Reading Rhythms: Learning note values and rhythm counting, with opportunities to create rhythm patterns.
5. Reading Bass Clef and Left Hand: Focusing on left-hand practice and two-handed coordination.
6. Exploring Dynamics and Expression: Incorporating dynamics and expression into playing.
7. Chords and Accompaniment: Introducing improvisation techniques using the C Major scale.
8. Games & Review: Reinforcing music theory through interactive games and group collaboration.
9. Performance: Students prepare and perform a song, showcasing their skills and progress.
