Meet Julie Zorrilla, a Colombian American artist on a lifelong musical journey. You may recognize her as a top 24 finalist from American Idol's 10th season, but her pursuit of music began at a piano when she was four years old.

Julie discovered the enchanting world of music at an early age and always knew this was her calling. Inspired by her 3-time Grammy winning Godmother, Julie began writing songs at age 6 and eventually taught herself music production to make her ideas come to life. Through her schooling years, her efforts lead her through prestigious institutions like Denver School of the Arts, Idyllwild Arts Academy, and Musician's Institute in LA. There, she honed her skills as a pianist, singer, producer, performer, and songwriter.

After her journey on American Idol, Julie collaborated with renowned music producers like David Foster, Jimmy Iovine, Rodney Jerkins, and KC Porter. From Europe to Asia, she has performed for audiences worldwide, happy to be able to enjoy her passion for travel as well. Julie’s extensive songwriting experience has yielded hundreds of catchy pop tunes and heartfelt ballads. Her music graced screens and platforms, with tracks like "Rebel Heart" featured as the theme of Vh1's Miami Monkey and her YouTube cover of "Bésame Mucho" reaching hundreds of thousands of views. “Just A Wish,” The theme song for Walt Before Mickey, has also surpassed a million plays on Spotify.

Additionally, Julie has enjoyed artist residencies in Dubai, collaborating with luxury hotels like Emirates Towers, Jumeirah Beach Hotel, and the Waldorf Astoria. But what truly sets Julie apart is her down-to-earth approach to music. She's all about making the learning experience accessible, enjoyable, and, above all, fun.

Today, based in sunny Florida, Julie is developing and implementing enrichment programs in her community and teaching private and group lessons at Melodywise School of Music.
